One of her most intriguing abilities is Chloe’s ability to bring her own sound and style to different projects and formats. In 2010 she won a DJ competition that brought her notoriety and a recording contract. She was signed to Hypertraxx Records under the stage name Claudia Di Marco. Her first single "Rien que toi" became a hit with music videos, numerous interviews, and touring. Make no mistake, Chloe is a DJ but she is also a composer. In a very modern manner, Chloe opts for computer and sound banks with software programs like Cubase rather than traditional acoustic instruments to create her melodies and beats. While an actual human singer is the one traditional approach to her music, she concedes that she’ll often modify the vocal part to make it fit her vision.
Always searching for new means of expression and new evolutions, Chloe made her next move that of starting a band with fellow renowned DJ Teo Moss. In 2013 the duo wrote an album titled “Luvgonetrash” and gave their band the same moniker. A successful multiple country tour followed. When prodded as to his reasons for starting the band with Chloe, Teo relates, “I immediately recognized her immense talent upon witnessing her perform. She has a very original and innovative approach to her sound behind the turntables. I asked her to form the duo Luvgonetrash with me and I am extremely proud of what we created together. Chloe’s touch, her talent, her femininity, they are all part of her unique sound and sonic fingerprint which is having an impact on the world music scene. There’s in an unquestionable international appeal to the music which she creates.”
In less than a decade, DJ/Composer Chloe Chloe has appeared on the international music scene, seemingly out of nowhere and created a career for herself and given exposure and opportunities to a host of international artists in the music world. They say a true artist spends their entire career evolving. If that’s true, it is overwhelming to think of how many more transformations this talented French artist will undergo in her lifetime.
